Gina is a graduate from Oakland University with a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Theatre Design & Technology. She worked on many productions there including Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Women of Lockerbie, Much Ado About Nothing, and Legally Blonde. She studied theatre at Hydrama Theatre and Arts Centre in Hydra, Greece where she designed costumes and masks for Oakland University’s production of Antigone.

 

 

Gina works as a scenic artist for companies including Goodspeed Musicals, Global Scenic Services, Long Wharf Theatre, and Revels Inc. She has worked as a seamstress for Seams Unlimited where she built costumes for Carousel and Sound of Music at the Lyric Opera of Chicago. Gina has scenic designed for Epiphany Studios and Theater for the Thirsty in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She is currently designing Romeo and Juliet for the Interlochen Center for the Arts Shakespeare Festival. Gina is also the co-founder of Amarant Design Collective, a Detroit based installation art organization.
